Cat Vs Dog People

Let me first start off by saying that I love and respect all animals considered to be Pets. When someone tells me they hate pets, I think to myself... "I can't be friends with you!" I have encountered over the years, and it is starting to bug me more and more, that there is a distinct bias against people with Kitties.

For example, I say to my roomie... "lets get a kitty." He says "Gross!" He says back to me "lets get a dog" I say "I am down with that".

Not during one point in the conversation did I bad mouth a dog.

My friend James does it to me all the time. He glorifies his dog Rommal (he is pretty fucking sexy best), bashes my kitty Pee Wee. WTF. It is still my damn pet, its called respect!

Although, I do have a personal preference. Everyone does. That is ok. I am not against dogs, I just don't have the time or space right now.

Another thing with Kitties, sometimes you get an asshole cat that just likes to go under your bed and run away from you, and then kitty just wines because he wants food. I hate those kind of kitties, they bug me. HOWEVER! Once you get a good kitty that just likes to snuggle with you and love, and has total personality, you have hit the jack pot! Oh yeah, BTW, all my kitties are indoor-outdoor! So yeah, all I am trying to say is fuck people who hate on cats. I understand that there are lame cats out there, more often than most, but the good ones are way better than dogs! For me at least! Easy, clean, smart, and soft! Please don't tell me you hate cats because that shit is wack and I would be happy to go on a walk with you and you dog! Booh-yah.

Half Cab by Vans

Well I just saw this on TB's tweet.

Kind of bummed the used the same color wave as the Todd Bratrud Volcom line.
They did jock the scales a lil bit. But after some more research, I discovered this:

The scales have been on there since the first OG Cab Vans came out in the early 90's. They were actually biting the Jordan III by NIke (Although they probably wouldn't admit it), but with dragon-like scales ... since Cab has always been identified by his Powell Peralta Dragon graphics since he's part Japanese.

The Jordan III was the next most popular shoe after the original Jordan which they all wore in Animal Chin. Another thing is that the Jordan III was the first popular Mid-Top basketball shoe and at that same time, we were cutting Cab Vans down to mid-tops or even low tops.

Then I read this link and confirmed it was a bite!
It reads: "Here we see a Vans Half Cab scheduled late this year or early next where you can definitely tell Todds influence" NO SHIT!

DNA Ghetto Fab Photo Shoot

Just got what I think is the last of the pics from my photo shoot with my personal stylists Dirty Cash, Jenna Stevenson, my lil model cousin Melissa Vandaele & the DNA Photo Crew outta SB.

Stoked on the ideas and how it came out. Our main goal was to promote street wear as a life style and a personal brand, with a hipster pop edge and emphasis on skate and Latino culture.

Working in the skateboarding industry does rub off on me quite a bit, and when I was in Jr. High I always gravitated to the skate, over surf & snow, always, because Shorty's was the shit at that time and I had to have my one pocket OG back pack and "horty" hoody. Yal know what I am talking about. Not just because I grew up with Shortys in Santa Barbara, but because skateboarding was just a little bit dirtier & steezier than surfing. I could actually get on a skate and ollie with my white Kostons on. My love for skate culture and fashion has been with me a long time. On anther note, I have also been noticing high fashion brands like LV jockin' the skate scene too, because they know how big the market is and what it represents. And then you have Pharell. LOL. Anyways. Thus you have skateboards and hot chics.

I wanted something bubbly and poppy but hard.

Mike and I also really wanted to push the Latino culture into the shoot as well. When you are an SB loc, you are down with the 'siders and cholos. That is how is works. You go to parties and there are Mexicans kicking it with the surfers, punks, everyone is in the mix. I see kids pushing the styles at SB High, that we tried to high light. Flannels. Mad Doggers or "Locs". Catholicism. High Socks. Chucks. Lip Liner. Mexican Candy. This idea does need to be expanded...And all of the above reasons are why I like Mike Giant. He throws down with Latino culture and its real.

Mike Rojas brought the dirtier edge to it, a little grunge and sex in the mix. Jenna contributed her knowledge of high fashion and organization of detail, and let me tell you, they both have lots of good ideas and most importantly an EYE FOR FASHION & TRENDS. Derren does have a special talent for taking good pictures and Ana knows how to pimp them out! But most importantly they all support me and I support them and it is refreshing working with people who are ampted on the same stuff and are motivated to get shit done.

We attempted to do a second shoot to contrast with more high fashion items, but from the looks of the pics, it seems like the lighting was just not right so that shoot will definitely need to be done again!

I am hoping to do another shoot soon, perhaps around the same theme as well. If you have a good camera, give me a holler!

Anyways, just me and my little cuz kickin' it at the market eating candy, with nothing to do but cause MISHIEF.

Fafi X Adidas continues...

Fafi is my favorite. I used to jock on Miss Van, because I was in Barcelona for so long and that is her zone... but then I discovered Fafi, and realized I like her little characters more. They are cuter. Their eyes are are a bit slanted with winged eye lashes, Miss Van's are darkened out. I also really like how her characters are a little ghetto and pornographic at times.

Check out the new sneaks for Adidas on Hypebeast

Continuing her collaborative efforts with the adidas Originals campaign, Parisian artist Fafi will be releasing her third collection this October. The lineup looks to feature five models, with a preview of the first seen here. Utilizing adidas Honey Mid’s, the sneakers take obvious inspiration from Fafi’s world travels and upcoming comic book, which should prove to be another worthy endeavor for the artist.

Here is a little pic of her new comic book! I want it! BAD

Freedom Artists Contest in Malibu

Two weekends ago I went to a Freedom Artists Contest at West Zuma Beach in Malibu. It was hella windy but the waves were trashing enough to make a splash and it turned out to be a pretty good contest for its size.

From Surfline:

The 3rd Annual Freedom Artists Surf Series ignited during the last week of April with a Solid SSW Groundswell at Westward Beach. Surfers such as Danny Fuller, Josh Curran, Kalani Robb, Colin Giles, Noah Ericsson, Danny Estes, Quinn McCrystal, and Kilian Garland came to compete and show their support for this grassroots LA-homegrown surf series.

\

The Camper!!

TMZ Claims Tupac Is Alive

WTF? Is that Tupac or what because it sure as hell looks like him. I am a HUGE Tupac fan and the whole story fascinates me. Anyways the photos were taken in New Orleans at a night club.. and they are recent, see the new Miller beer can. I did a little research and it looks like the photo could be of this dude Josh Harraway.

Yup, Josh Harraway looks a lot like Tupac and has been spotted on a number of occasions decked out in full Tupac style. Back in March, Josh showed up at a Lil Wayne concert and caused a bit of commotion amongst the people near him.

So maybe TMZ is just trying to get us to their site? Well leave a dead man alone if he is dead! Maybe we will get more proof later on.. I dunno, you think you could google "Tupac's grave site" and get a bunch of the same picture... not the case.

I only got these two pics, that conflict... where is his damn body?

More stuff

Here are some reasons people believe Tupac is alive:

1. 2Pac began calling himself Makaveli. Machiavelli was an Italian war strategist who advocated faking one's death to fool their enemies. 2Pac was a fan of Machiavelli and had read his books. Perhaps 2Pac is taking his advice?

(But that is not all Machiavelli did, Nicolo Machiavelli was a political, military theorist, historian, playwright, diplomat, and military planner. He is well known today. Some of his works are "The Prince" (1513), and The Art of War (1521). NOTE: Bone Thugs 'N' Harmony's new double album which features 2Pac is called "The Art Of War." Coincedence Or Not???)

2. 2Pac was cremated the day after he died. Since when does some one get cremated the day after a murder? There was no autopsy. Plus, no one can ask to dig up his grave like they wanted to do with Elvis and like they did with Abraham Lincoln.

(An autopsy picture "leaked" onto the Internet, click here to take a look. However, this could easily be a fake picture.)

3. 2Pac has completed several movies and new albums and keeps on appearing on new artist's albums. (Many of the unheard songs 2Pac has completed are unreleased and not on any albums) Why would he do so much at one time??? With so many people upset about 2Pac's death, literally anything connected with him is bound to net a whole lot of cash,

(Yet 2Pac had big plans for 'Makaveli Records'. This may be why he's completed so many songs. Makaveli Records is the the new record company 2Pac planned on doing with "Tha Outlaw Immortalz". He was leaving Death Row Records. Suge Knight could have killed 2Pac so they could get all the money. 2Pac's mother is currently suing Death Row Records for this money.)

4. In a 1994 interview with Tupac, he said before he went to prison that if he was ever sent to prison when he came out he would be worse than before. He was. He also said when he came out it would be like he was reborn. Was he speaking literally? He already died and he was worse when he came out of jail, plus Tupac switched his rapping name from 2Pac to Makaveli, that could be considered a rebirth, all that's left is a physical rebirth (A sighting) and so far he's already completed more than half of this prophecy.

5. The cover of 2Pac's latest album, Makaveli, features 2Pac posed as Jesus Christ, Could he be planning a resurrection?

(Death Row Records probably did this for the publicity. It just adds to the whole 2Pac alive stuff which has been getting the album more sales.)

6. Las Vegas is a payoff city, meaning all sorts of folks have been known to be on the take. That means doctors, press, lawyers, etc.

(This works both ways, The payoff city Las Vegas could be a factor in either 2Pac faking his death OR Suge Knight killing him.)

7. The producer on the new Makaveli album is simply "SIMON." This was the apostle who helped Jesus carry the cross and one of the first to witness his resurrection. Could Suge be SIMON?

8. There are many numerological coincidences. Tupac was gunned down exactly seven months after All Eyez On Me was released. The number seven keeps coming up too. He was shot on September 7th and survived on 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and died the 13th. This could explain the title of his new album, "The Don Killuminati: The 7 day theory." 2pac was 25. His age adds up to 7 (2 + 5). Even his time of death, 4:03, adds up to 7 (4 + 0 + 3). Also, on track five on the Makaveli album the voice at the begining says "And if the Lord returns in the coming seven days, then we'll see ya next time." He even talks about the number 7 on his album! There are more 'coincidences' too, The newest is on his brand new double album entitled "R U Still Down?". This album was released on November 25th. 2 + 5 = 7. The 7 day theory continues! What's with this?Huh

9. Inside the cover of 2Pac's newest album, it reads "Exit: 2pac, Enter: Makaveli" as if 2pac has died and Makaveli born. There is also that statement by 2Pac saying when he came out it would be like he was reborn. (Refer to #4)

10. 2Pac's video 'I Ain't Mad At Ya' foretold his death , 2Pac dies in that video, then a new video came out under the name "Makaveli". Its just like 2Pac died in "I Ain't Mad At Cha", and Makaveli was born in "Toss It Up". Exit 2Pac Enter: Makaveli. It all makes sense.

11. In the video "Toss It Up", 2Pac is supposedly wearing some Penny Hardaway sneakers which were not available at the time of his death!!!! Also, some say in the video "Live & Die In LA" when 2Pac jumps in the car you see that he is wearing some Michael Jordan sneakers which were not available at the time of his death!

(If 2pac is dead, then his double is doing his new videos, So, that explains the shoes!)

12. In Tupac's song "Life of an Outlaw" on the album The 7 Day Theory, he says "All for the street fame on how to be managed, 6 months in advance to what we plotted, approved to go on swole and now I got it"-Life Of An Outlaw. This implies that Tupac planned his "death" in advance and now he is enjoying the success of his plan.

13. 2Pac always wore a bulletproof vest but for some strange reason he didn't wear one this time, why not?

(I've heard Suge Knight was caught on surveilance cameras at the fight telling 2Pac to take off the vest 'cause it was hot in there. If this is true, why would Suge Knight not want 2Pac wearing his vest???)

14. The memorial services that were open to the public were canceled in both Los Angeles and Atlanta.

(This could be in the request of family or friends. It's quite possible.)

15. 2Pac's vehicle got shot 12 times and Suge didn't get hit once, He was 'grazed' by a bullet, Why did 2Pac get shot all those times and Suge not get hit?

16. The white Cadillac containing the assailants was never found, How could this be when Vegas is in the middle of a desert?

17. Las Vegas is in the middle of the desert. How come there was no helicopter chase? If some one were to rob a casino, the LVPD would've chased you down with some helicopters, . How come this didn't happen with 2Pac shooting?

18. A shooting involving Snoop Doggy Dogg occurred close to the release of his album Doggystyle which made Snoop appear more "real" and showed that he really was a gangsta. The shooting gave him respect because everyone that bought his album believed what he was talking about. Within one week of its release, Doggystyle went platinum. Snoop is signed to the same label as Tupac which is Death Row Records.

19. Suge said he drove 2Pac to the hospital and they had a coherent conversation? How bad was 2Pac hit? In addition to all this , there are conflicting stories claiming that Quincy Jone's daughter was in the back of the car, and then she wasn't, what's the deal for real?

20. Have you seen the video of the song "Smile" by Scarface and Makaveli?? I have heard it's not 2Pac in that video. It is the look-alike from Ohio. (That's why '2Pac' never looks at the camera) The video starts out showing a car just like the one 2Pac got shot in, and the car of course has bullet holes in it! You then hear garbled words and then they show 2Pac (Makaveli) up posing as Jesus Christ again! That's Twice! Once on the album & now in this video! HuhHuhHuh

Coachella High Lights

This year I did not go to Coachella, but I am jealous for all the following reasons... See you tube videos below. I have been once before, and let me tell you, it was one of the greatest experiences of my whole life. I strongly recommend it... and here is why
1. Music makes you feel like you are on drugs, when you really aren't- just the natural high. You body releases endorphins when it hears and feels the vibrations of music that you like.
2. Coachella is way more organized and clean than you would assume. When you get there- you are like woah, this is sick, way organized, professional, and overall A + on set up. No mud throwing hippies... just pure hipsters... well maybe some hippies :)
3. The warm weather gives you good feelings too.. you can wear oober fashions and still be sexy
4. The vibes are great. And you get to see mad peeps from all over! Lots Cali kids in the house

TRV$AM (Travis Barker callabo with DJ Am Mixing) & Warren G

MSTRKRFT- EZ LOVE

MSTRKRFT Ft John Legend... Green Light... This one is MY FAVORITE... and spawns the most jealousy for not being there. The second song half way into it is SO GOOD

The Bloody Beat Roots ft Steve Aoki

And Some pics from last year that detail my fun level
